Ethnic Minority Bachelor's Scholarships in Oncology Nursing

Lung Cancer Research Grant

This $50,000 grant provides funding to support the ONS Research Agenda and is supported by the National Lung Cancer Partnership and the ONS Foundation. Students enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing program student may qualify for an American Cancer Society Scholarship of $10,00 each year for a period of up to two years. Graduate students in a doctoral program in cancer research, education, administration or clinical practice may qualify for an annual stipend of $15,000 for up to four years. Washington State Nurses Foundation (WSNF) Scholarships

A minimum of four $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually by the Wisconsin State Nurses Foundation (WSNF) and graduate students pursuing a career in oncology nursing are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be WSNF member, registered nurses and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an official transcript with two applicant recommendation forms. Through the Siemens Oncology Scholarship Program, Nevada Cancer Institute awards four scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each. Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance Scholarships

Funding is made available through the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) through the support of the family of Anita Lubov to help oncology nurses attend helpful area conferences. The Anita Lubov Memorial Fund awards up to $3,000 each year to help oncology nurses increase their knowledge of ovarian cancer, help improve their care of women with ovarian cancer and help them educate others about the disease.
